What jewelry and materials does Old Traditions use?
Why do we use the materials that we do and nothing else?
When you get a new piercing it is very important to have proper material in your body.
A fresh piercing is a wound! Jewelry worn inside of that wound is exposed to all types of biomaterial!
Suitable metals used at Old Traditions:
Implant Grade Titanium, Gold, and Niobium

14-18k Gold:

Nickel free or Palladium Based

Higher than 18k is not reccomended in body piercings as it can be scratched and cause irritation due to texture and excess bacteria

Niobium

The APP Recommends niobium to be as pure as possible - 99.9% Niobium or higher. This is sometimes referred to as “999 Niobium”

Similar to Titanium but is softer and heavier

Unlikely to react to bodily fluids, oxygen, or cleaning agents
