OLD TRADITIONS POLICIES

Jewelry Return Policy

In the event that a piece of jewelry purchased at Old Traditions is no longer wanted and is returned to the studio, we provide a number of exchange and refund options. 


 

A full refund on the original form of payment can be given if and only if-

-The jewelry was not inserted in or out of the studio and shows no signs of insertion according to a Old Traditions employee

-The jewelry was not removed from the tamper resistant bag in or out of the studio and shows no signs of removal according to a Old Traditions employee

-The jewelry has a corresponding receipt on file at Old Traditions

 

Store credit at 100% of the cost or an exchange will be given if-

-The jewelry does not have a corresponding receipt on file at Old Traditions

-The jewelry was not inserted in or out of the studio and shows no signs of insertion according to a Old Traditions Employee 

-The jewelry was not removed from the tamper resistant bag in or out of the studio and shows no signs of removal according to an Old Traditions employee. 

 

Store credit at 50% or a 50% exchange will be given if-

-The jewelry has a corresponding receipt on file at Old Traditions

-The jewelry was not inserted in or out of the studio and shows no signs of insertion according to an Old Traditions employee 

-The jewelry was removed from the tamper resistant bag in or out of the studio or shows signs of being removed by an Old Traditions employee. 

 

No refund or exchange will be provided if-

-The jewelry shows any sign of wear

 

No refund or exchange will be provided if-

-The jewelry does not have a corresponding receipt on file at Old Traditions

-The jewelry was removed from the tamper resistant packaging in or out of the studio or shows signs of being removed according to an Old Traditions employee.

Jewelry Repair Policy

In the event that a purchased piece of jewelry is or becomes defective because of the manufacturer's default, we will send the item back to the original company for repair free of charge. Proof of purchase is required. No cash/credit refunds. Because different companies repair items at varying speeds, we will offer a 50% discount on either a titanium piece of jewelry or a 10% discount on a gold piece of jewelry to wear in the defective jewelry’s place.

 

An Old Traditions staff member will send the defective jewelry for repair within one week of receiving it. At this time a confirmation email will be sent.

 

A staff member will also reach out promptly via phone and/or email when the jewelry arrives back at the studio.

 

If a purchased piece of jewelry becomes defective from the wearer’s misuse, no action can be taken because companies only repair due to the manufacturer's default.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointments and well-being are very important to us. We understand that sometimes, unexpected things can occur, causing schedule changes. If you need to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hour notice. Any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 hours in advance will result in Old Traditions keeping your deposit. In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, we will happily refund your deposit.

Rescheduling Policy

Your appointments and well-being are very important to us. We understand that sometimes, unexpected things can occur, causing schedule changes. If you need to reschedule your appointment, we respectfully request at least 2 hour notice. Any reschedule made less than 2 hours in advance will result in Old Traditions cancelling your appointment; which in turn means that you will have to pay another deposit if you wish to rebook. In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, we will happily refund your deposit.

Late Policy

Your appointments and well-being are very important to us. We understand that sometimes, unexpected delays can occur, causing schedule changes. If you will be arriving late to your appointment, we respectfully request as much notice as possible. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your service, we may not be able to accommodate you. In this case, a late fee will apply- we will only refund half of your deposit. We will also require you to book another appointment with a new deposit. In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, we will happily refund your deposit.
